Mila’s Brows Signature® Technique

With over 7 years of experience in micropigmentation and 20 years in the beauty industry, Mila has experience in all market techniques, including the most advanced methods such as Microblading, Nanoblading, and Nano Brows. Mila has developed her own technique, which is more refined, precise, and less invasive compared to conventional methods.
Mila’s Brows Signature is an exclusive technique that seamlessly combines artistic skill with scientific knowledge, integrating health, beauty, and well-being. This method is entirely customized and performed entirely freehand, without the use of rulers or standardization. With a keen visual perception and attention to detail, Mila follows the natural shape of the face, respecting the natural design and thickness of the eyebrows. She uses the natural parameters of the bone structure, symmetry, and musculature, strategically drawing fine strokes that follow the direction and movement of the hair. Mila also has expertise in the body’s functions, skin types, and an understanding of pigment chemistry and ingredients. She uses high-quality organic pigments applied at the optimal skin depth. This results in a less invasive procedure, featuring crisp, fine strokes that ensure the color remains true and does not change over time. The strokes do not blur or expand; they only fade gradually, allowing the client the option to update the style or shape if desired. This technique focuses on creating fine, ultra-realistic strokes that blend seamlessly with existing brows, providing a harmonious, subtle, and natural appearance. Additionally, her technique promotes excellent healing, with quick and long-lasting results.

How long the Procedures takes?
Usually lasts between 1.5 to 2 hours.
-
Before starting the procedure, Mila conducts a detailed consultation with each client to understand their history, concerns, and expectations. She meticulously draws each stroke, allowing clients to visualize the final result before the procedure begins, ensuring total satisfaction with the shape and style.

Does the Procedure Hurt?
Pain tolerance varies, but most clients describe the sensation as a slight scratch, rating the discomfort at about 3 on a scale of 10. The technique is applied only to the first layer of the skin (epidermis), making it non-invasive with minimal discomfort. I do not recommend anesthesia application to avoid altering the stroke results and to keep the skin from becoming stiff. However, in cases of extreme sensitivity, a topical anesthetic can be applied during the procedure to minimize discomfort.

Pre-Procedure Care

To ensure your skin is in the best possible condition for the procedure:

-
Sun Exposure: Avoid sun exposure and sunburns for at least 3 days before your appointment.
-
Eyebrow Shaping: Do not wax, shape, or remove eyebrow hair within 3 days of the procedure.
-
Alcohol and Caffeine: Limit consumption 24 hours before the appointment.
Post-Procedure Care
Post-procedure care is crucial for the longevity of your new permanent makeup:
-
3 Hours After the Procedure: Clean your eyebrows to avoid scabbing. Use cold water, mild soap, and clean hands. Clean once a day for 4 days.
-
Balm Application: Apply the balm two to three times a day for 7 days after the first day of the cleaning period.
-
Oily Skin: Clean once a day for 4 days and apply the balm only if necessary.

Touch-Ups
Touch-up sessions are required 4-8 weeks after the initial procedure.

Touch-Up: Scheduled for 4-8 weeks later to perfect the color and fill in areas that may have faded as the skin healed. Oily skin may require more touch-ups due to natural oil production accelerating fading.

Results Longevity
Mila's ® Brow Technique is a semi-permanent solution that lasts between 8 to 24 months, depending on skin type and lifestyle. For best results, a touch-up is recommended within 8-12 months. My focus is not only on the initial application but also on the maintenance of your brows over time.

Botox should be done 2 weeks before or 2 weeks after the procedure.
What If I Have Old Permanent Makeup?

If you have had previous tattooing, you MUST take a clear picture in good lighting and email it to me before booking any treatment. In some instances, where the previous work is too dark, dense, discolored, or large, tattoo removal will be highly recommended before any new appointment can be made. I cannot guarantee results for such cases. Previously tattooed areas will almost always require additional sessions and will be charged accordingly. Some special cases may be considered; please contact me with any further questions.
Care Tip
Before showering, apply a thin layer of the ointment to protect your eyebrows from moisture. During the shower, keep your face away from the shower head, limit your time in the shower, and try to avoid very hot water and creating lots of steam. It’s a good idea to cover your forehead and eyebrow area with a shower cap to keep water and steam away from them. Alternatively, consider taking a bath or washing your hair at a salon.
What’s Normal?
-
Swelling, Itching, Scabbing: Common and usually relieved with cold water and aftercare balm.
-
Darkness and Unevenness: The darkness will fade, and unevenness usually disappears once swelling dissipates. The follow-up touch-up is highly recommended to address any concerns.
-
Color Change or Color Loss: As the procedure area heals, the color may lighten and sometimes seem to disappear. This is normal. The procedure area must be completely healed before we can address any concerns, which takes at least four weeks.
Ongoing Care
-
Avoid: Laser treatments (Fraxel Laser, IPL), chemical treatments, and chemical peels over the treated area.
-
Avoid: Creams containing Retin-A/Retinoid, Glycolic Acid, or Alpha Hydroxyl over the treated area.
-
Antibiotics and Hormonal Therapy: Can lead to faster pigment fading.
-
Sun Exposure: Once completely healed (4 weeks), always apply SPF to your eyebrows when exposed to the sun to prevent quicker pigment fading.

What is Lip Blushing?

Lip Blushing enhances the natural beauty of your lips by improving definition, color, and shape. This technique is designed for a more natural and delicate look, using our infinite border technique to ensure your lip contour remains unmarked, resulting in a soft and naturally flushed appearance. Colors are fully customizable to suit your desires. If your lips have a purplish or grayish tone, we recommend a neutralization process before selecting your desired shade.

Durability: 1-3 years, depending on skin type.

Important Note: Permanent Makeup is a TWO-Step PROCESS due to individual body specifics. Completing both sessions is crucial for achieving the perfect outcome tailored to your skin’s needs and ensuring long-lasting results.

Touch-Up Appointments

A touch-up session is required 6-8 weeks after the initial procedure. This session is not included in the initial session price.

Cold Sores
If you suffer from cold sores, even once, you must take antiviral medication 2-3 days before and after your lips procedure. While Lip Blushing does not cause cold sores, the lip tissue injury can trigger an outbreak. This step is vital to prevent any issues. Please consult your doctor for antiviral prescriptions.

Pre-Care Instructions
-
Prescription Blood Thinners: Do not take any prescription blood thinners at least 48 hours prior to and after your procedure.
-
Lip Fillers: No fillers in the procedure area less than two weeks prior.
-
Events: Plan trips or events a minimum of 10 days after the procedure.
-
Lip Color: Bring in your favorite lip color if you have a specific shade you're expecting to achieve.
-
Existing Permanent Makeup: If you have existing permanent makeup on your lips, contact an artist BEFORE booking your appointment.
-
Cold Sores: If you are prone to cold sores, ask your doctor to prescribe antiviral medication to prevent outbreaks.
Aftercare Instructions
Day 1-17: Apply ointment on the treated area every hour. Keep your lips moist with the ointment. After approximately 3 weeks, when no more scabs are present, discontinue the aftercare product.
Day of the Procedure: Swelling may occur. During the first few days, you may experience swelling, bruising, dryness, tingling, and tenderness. Lips will be tender initially. Eat foods you can place in your mouth with a fork without touching your lips. Avoid scrubbing, rubbing, wiping, or scratching the area. Apply sunblock appropriate for lips and use a good lip balm.

Post-Procedure Appearance: Right after the procedure, the lips may look brighter than after healing. Swelling may occur, and lips will fade up to 70% during the healing process.
What to Avoid
-
Food: Spicy and salty food.
-
Kissing: Avoid kissing.
-
Products: Do not use soaps, cleansers, creams, or makeup on the treated area.
-
Treatments: Avoid facial treatments, waxing, and bleach.
-
Abrasion: No abrasive products, rough towels, or similar.
-
Touching: Do not touch or pick the small scabs that may appear. Let them slough off naturally to avoid disrupting pigment retention.
-
Water Exposure: Avoid hot baths, saunas, steam, swimming pools, salt water, and direct shower spray. If the area gets wet, pat dry with a tissue.
-
Sun Exposure: Avoid sunbathing and tanning beds.
-
Teeth Bleaching: Do not bleach your teeth until your lips are healed.
-
Activities: Avoid swimming pools, oceans, hot tubs, saunas, and hot steamy showers for 10 days. Avoid dirt (gardening) and extreme perspiration (gym) for the first week to prevent infection.
-

Note: Don’t be alarmed if pigment comes off onto a Q-tip when applying aftercare ointments. The final color cannot be judged until 2 weeks post-procedure.
Factors Influencing Treatment Success
The success of the treatment depends on:
-
Skin quality
-
Post-treatment care
-
Exposure to various external influences
Note: None of these factors are under the artist’s control, so providing a guarantee for the treatment is not possible.
